The Story
​Mr. Khalil Eldous started the farming business since 1975 in the State of Qatar. The nature of the business was to rent a farm on yearly basis to grow and produce all types of vegetables & some fruits, with hard climate conditions. The agricultural products were sold in the local market. The Qatari market had and still having shortage in supply from local farms. The government is importing around 85% of the country’s Agriculture requirement. The population of Qatar has reached 2.6 Million. The local supply is not enough for various reasons, but the main reason is the nature of the land which is mostly rocky, less fertile and shortage of ground water wells, for which it requires huge investments. Below table summarizes different farms Mr. Khalil has invested in to manage and developed their infrastructure since 1980.

About The Company
The main company was founded in January 2009 with its business in recycling and manufacturing of plastic products. The reason behind establishing the plastic factory was to support the agricultural activities in the local market by providing irrigation pipes, In-house water pipes, plastic buckets, plastic vegetable boxes etc. The company partnered with many local plastic waste plants and machinery companies in China. In 2014, Technical Agriculture Company was new was established as a branch of the main company with the aim to support agriculture activities by providing all the necessary tools, seeds and agricultural equipment. In 2018, Technical Agriculture Company was spliited from the main company to be a stand-alone legal company. The strategy behind both companies was first to supply the requirements of the company’s rented farms, agricultural activities and then sell to the local market / farms.
